Fulham got their first win of the pre-season after brushing aside Melbourne Victory 3-0 on Saturday.
The Cottagers, still smarting from their 2-1 defeat to Gold Coast United last Wednesday, stepped things up in the second game of their Australian tour and were in control from the moment Andy Johnson gave them a first-half lead.
Eddie Johnson and Erik Nevland added second-half goals to round off a comfortable win.
The Londoners have one final game down under, a clash with Perth Glory on Wednesday, before returning to these shores for away friendlies with AFC Bournemouth (July 21) and Peterborough United (July 25).
Fulham have left five first-team regulars back home for the trip with Brede Hangeland, Clint Dempsey, Paul Konchesky, Simon Davies and Dickson Etuhu failing to travel with the squad.
But boss Roy Hodgson has moved to quell speculation linking defensive stalwart Hangeland with a move away from Craven Cottage, with Arsenal, Aston Villa and Manchester City thought to be interested.
Hodgson said: “He is a Fulham player and he has a two-year contract at Fulham.
“We don’t intend to sell him and he is happy at the club.
“We have offered him a new contract but because he hasn’t immediately jumped at it people are suggesting there will be movement.
“But I will be very surprised if that happens.”
