Fulham made an impressive maiden venture in the Europa League with a 3-0 win at Lithuanian side FK Vetra last night.
Bobby Zamora, who has turned down a move to Hull City in the past week, was instrumental in the Cottagers' triumph, having a hand in all three goals.
He opened the scoring a minute before half-time, won a 55th-minute penalty that was converted by midfielder Danny Murphy, and then played in Seol Ki-Hyeon to seal victory six minutes from time.
The striker told Fulham's website: "It was important for us to start with a win. We're all loving playing in Europe - we're going to relish every minute of it.
"Now we're just looking forward to the second leg next week. It'll be another tough workout for us and hopefully we'll come out of it with another win.
"They were organised and they worked hard. They put the ball in the box and they'll give us another hard game back at the Cottage next week."
