Sutton United have announced that there will be no admission charged for their rearranged home Ryman League game against Harrow Borough.
The game will be played on Tuesday, 22nd December, kick off 7.45, having been postponed from its original October date due to Sutton being involved in an FA Cup 4th qualifying round tie at Hampton.
Under the rules for rearranging games the clubs were left with little option but to reschedule the fixture for the Tuesday before Christmas, and Sutton are hopeful that by scrapping admission charges for the night they will attract a larger crowd than would normally have been the case on an evening when the football is likely to clash with other Christmas events.
U's also hope that the incentive will appeal to local schoolchildren, who will by then have started their Christmas holidays.
The club can also confirm that the Boxing Day Ryman League game at home to Carshalton Athletic will be a 3.00pm kick off.
