Roy Hodgson has lauded his under-strength Fulham side as they continue to claw their way to Premier League points.
The Cottagers hope to make it seven points from nine when they host Burnley tomorrow night (Tuesday), just three days after grinding out a 0-0 draw at Bolton.
And after seeing Bobby Zamora add to his lengthy injury-list by bowing out of the Reebok clash due to sickness, Hodgson praised the spirit amongst his squad.
He said: “There is no doubt that we are wounded at the moment.
“But I cannot speak highly enough of the players out there as they are doing a great job.
“I am proud of each and every one of them for sticking to the task and I am delighted that we keep picking up points.”
The Londoners host Notts County this weekend as they gun for an FA Cup quarter-final spot, and the Fulham boss has called for a repeat of the recent battling displays.
Hodgson said: “We are fighting a lot of problems at the moment but I cannot fault the effort of the team in any way.
“If we continue to produce this sort of spirit we will continue to make progress.”
Fulham’s next three matches: Feb 14 Notts County (FAC, h), 18 Shaktar Donetsk (EL, h), 21 Birmingham City (a)
