Brentford striker Charlie MacDonald reckons it is high-time Myles Weston returned the favour and put a few goals his way.

The 21-year-old winger scored a close range equaliser on Saturday against Wycombe Wanderers from the striker’s lay-off, similar to the goal the youngster struck against Carlisle United last month.

Weston, who had made a habit of scoring in twos until the weekend, now has 10 goals to his name this season and heads the Griffin Park goal scoring charts ahead of MacDonald.

And the Bees frontman, scorer of a brace of penalties against Gillingham recently, says it would be nice if the former Notts County man could help boost his own tally for a change.

“I seem to be the provider at the moment. It is a shame he can’t do the same for me, “ he joked.

“He is a winger. It should be him providing chances for me. I don't think I've had an assist off him all season.

“I’m pleased for him. He is doing really well and scored an important goal for us at the weekend, but I reckon he needs to pull his finger out and return the favour.”
