Harlequins have swooped to sign England U20 centre Tom Casson on a two-and-a-half year contract.
Casson, who has previously with Saracens, has decided to renew a partnership with Rory Clegg that proved fruitful at age group level.
Director of rugby Conor O’Shea said: “I am sure everyone will make Tom very welcome at Harlequins.
“He is a plyer both Tony Diprose and I have rated for a number of years despite his tender years.
“We are looking forward to him fulfilling his potential alongside the host of talented English qualified backs we have at Harlequins."
The 19-year-old former Sedbergh College captain arrives with immediate effect and completes a quartet of talented young centres at The Stoop, with George Lowe and Jordan Turner-Hall also playing in that position.
