Dons boss Terry Brown reckons a congested fixture schedule is a small price to pay for success.
AFC Wimbledon travel to Kidderminster Harriers on Sunday before hosting Cambridge United on Wednesday having started a run of six games in 17 days against league leaders Crawley Town on Thursday.
Brown admits the re-scheduled matches - to allow the clash with the Red Devils to be screened on Premier Sports TV - have played havoc with his training programme.
But he insists it is an issue he is happy to deal with.
“It has been a nightmare but all clubs have to get used to it these days,” he said.
“If you want to be on television then you have to make one or two sacrifices and I suppose it is a price successful clubs have to pay.
“I’m glad we are full-time now because it gives one or two of the boys time off to rest. That said, if we get through this period in one piece I’ll be delighted.”
AFC Wimbledon’s next three games: Sept 26 Kidderminster Harriers (a), 29 Cambridge United (h), Oct 2 Forest Green Rovers (h).
