Striker Danny Kedwell insists he would never leave the Dons for another Blue Square Premier side - despite what Crawley Town boss Steve Evans might think.
The 27-year-old scored the winner in a 2-1 win over the Red Devils last Thursday and made it clear he was not for sale by slipping on a cheeky t-shirt infront of the Premier Sports TV cameras after the game.
Evans claimed Kedwell was desperate to join his promotion chasers, but the in-form forward has responded by pledging his future to the Dons.
“He was saying in the papers that I wanted to go there but I would never go to another club in the same league,” he said.
“I’m already at the best club in this division, so why would I want to move?
“It is a place I love, I love the supporters and Steve Evans talks a load of absolute rubbish.
“I’ve never even spoken to him. I don’t know where he is getting this from. I think he is just trying to deflect attention from the fact his side lost.
“I think he is just a bad loser.”
