Lewis Stevenson and George Robson return from injury to the Harlequins squad to face Bayonne in the Amlin Cup on Sunday.
Stevenson starts at lock whilst Robson is on the bench.
Stevenson is joined by Peter Browne in the second row.
Joe Marler remains in the front row to continue his great start to the season and is joined by Chris Brooker and John Andress.
To complete the pack, Nick Easter will scrum down at eight while captain Chris Robshaw is joined on the flanks by Tom Guest.
In the backs, Ollie Smith has a new partner in the centre in the form of Tom Casson in an otherwise unchanged back line from the Newcastle Falcons win.
Speaking ahead of the trip to France, 1st XV defence Coach Tony Diprose said: “It is always refreshing to mix up the season with a different competition.
"We have to look a bit harder to get information on a French side like Bayonne and there is always the extra challenge of travelling and of course playing the first game in France is always difficult.”
