Brentford boss Uwe Rosler insisted a million pounds was the difference between his men and Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

Addicks striker Bradley Wright-Phillips slotted the winner as the visitors performed a 1-0 smash 'n' grab raid on the League One points on offer at Griffin Park.

The goal came moments after Brentford full back Shaleum Logan had been stretchered off with a head injury following a sickening clash with his goalkeeper Richard Lee.

Rosler has backed his frontmen Clayton Donaldson, Gary Alexander and Micahel Grella, who have 11 goals between them this term, to find their goalscoring form.

But admitted a lack of goals - and Wright-Phillips in particular - was the difference at the weekend.

"I think we dominated the game, apart from just after the break, and after the incident happened. We had a lack of concentration and they had a little momentum on their right hand side," he said.

"Over the 90 minutes I think we were clearly the better team. We had far more attempts on goal. Our keeper only had one save to make.

"What separated these two teams was they had a striker up front who cost one million pounds and will probably score 30 goals. All credit to the quality they have.

"I think the three strikers who played, apart from scoring, did very well. I’m very happy.

"Obviously, if we had a million pounds for a striker we would be in the market for one. But I’m very happy with the strikers I have, as long as they try, work and create chances, the goals will come.

"Maybe not as many as Charlton will score, but it will be enough to achieve our goals.

"We didn’t deserve to lose that game. I feel gutted."
