Harlequins winger Seb Stegmann has insisted he is not the finished article, despite his current strike rate.

The 22-year-old, who has only recently returned from a two year injury lay off, baggged two tries against Newcastle Falcons taking his tally to six for the campaign in just ten starts.

His form is even more remarkable given he had been due to spend the season with Championship strugglers Esher this term.

But Stegmann, who didn't get on the scoresheet during Sunday's 22-16 win at London Wasps, is not getting carried away and admits he has much to learn.

"It is pretty scary coming in to a season having come back from some pretty bad injuries," he said.

"I should have been with Esher, but ironically injuries have given me a chance.

"I'm please to get a run of games and happy with my form, but I've still got one or two things to work on.

"Some games I don't see much of the ball but when it clicks we have been playing some exciting rugby."

Centre Matt Hopper's well worked try gave Quins a 7-6 half-time lead on Sunday, but they needed two try of the season contenders from Mike Brown and man of the match Luke Wallace to edge past their hosts.

Quins host French giants Toulouse on Friday night looking to build on a flying start to their European campaign.

And Stegmann admits it is a clash that has weighed on everyone's minds.

"It is going to be amazing and it is going to be a tough game," he added.

"It is the sort of game that is there in the back of your mind, but you do just have to take things game by game.

"For us it is all about the next game and we will prepare with the same work rate and same approach we have used all season."
