A classic cup tie on Saturday saw AFC Wimbledon advance to the next round away to Exeter City on October 28.
Excitement is already off the scale, with coaches, trains and cars filling up fast.
The ticket allocation is 1260 and there is every likelihood of a demand for more as the biggest game in the recent history of the club beckons.
Tickets are on sale to season ticketholders this week and general sale next week - check afcwimbledon.co.uk for details.
Back to last Saturday. Requests were made for a sizzling performance from an individual, and Byron Bubb delivered in style, with a goal of some aplomb from the edge of the box, plus numerous other contributions in a pulsating game against Evesham United, who equally played their part.
The winning goal through a Paul Barnes header will be claimed as a brilliant tactical substitution by Dave Anderson, and perhaps the manager deserves a bit of luck after yet more injuries have robbed the side of continuity this season.
Maybe this is a turning point, and with a League game last night and a further Cup game this coming Saturday in the FA Trophy at home to Dunstable, surely decent form can be cemented!
A word of warning, though, attention must focus on each game, and the FA Trophy game is probably more likely to see progress through to a final than the following week's FA Cup adventure.
