Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Mark Harper believes his players will learn from their mistakes as they look to get one over on Harrow Borough on Saturday.
 

The Beavers threw away the lead twice as they were held 3-3 by Wingate & Finchley last week, leaving them nine points off the top five.

But Harper says he trusts his squad not to repeat their errors as he looks to exact revenge on Harrow boss and pal Dave Anderson after their 4-3 away defeat in December.
 

He said: “It was defensive errors all round on Saturday really – the boys won’t make the same mistakes again.
 

“I was disappointed with the goals we conceded, but our squad is good enough to take it in and put it right.
 

“I’ve known Dave Anderson for years, but I reckon we owe them one after they beat us at their place.
 

“We scored three great goals last week and worked hard for them – to end up drawing the game felt like a loss for me.”
 

The Beavers boss admitted the club have had to re-adjust their expectations after their storming start to the season faded.
 

Hampton are now four unbeaten and displaying the kind of form that saw them flying high early on in the campaign.
 

Harper said: “When you go from leading the way to the results we were getting, of course the level of expectation is going to change.
 

“But this team is more than capable of turning things around and getting back to where we were a few months ago.
 

“I think a few people have written us off already but we know what we need to do.”
 

And despite Saturday’s opponents Harrow struggling at the foot of the table, the Beavers boss refused to view his side as favourites.
 

The Station Road outfit saw yet another game postponed on Tuesday night when their clash with Canvey Island fell to a waterlogged pitch.
 

But for Harper, the backlog of fixtures can be seen as a challenge for his squad rather than a problem.
 

“We would rather be playing twice a week than training anyway – it keeps them on their toes,” he added.
 

“Lots of other clubs are in the same situation and all we can do is just deal with each game as it comes.”
 

Max Hustwick is an injury concern this Saturday as he  nurses a twisted knee, which could see him sidelined for several weeks.
