Tooting & Mitcham United’s assistant manager Adam Moriarty is looking to statistics to fuel a final push to safety in the Ryman League Division One South table.
Following Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Sittingbourne at Imperial Fields, the Terrors are 11th on 40 points, 13 off the play offs.
Moriarty said: “I put the home and away form statistics on the dressing room wall for the players to see.
“We had the worst away form in the league but were in the top five in terms of home form. It creates awareness among the players and paints a picture of how the season is going.”
He added: ‘Our target for this year is 45 points and safety.
“We have a playing budget in the bottom five of the league, so at the moment we are going OK.
“We have a small squad of 17 players, three of the lads came up from the academy.
“We’re OK with injuries at the moment and that needs to continue.”
