Former Brentford goalkeeper Richard Lee has come out of retirement to sign terms with Ryman Premier League Hampton & Richmond Borough.
The 33-year-old, a firm favourite during his time at the Championship club, hung up his gloves at the end of last season after a brief loan spell at Fulham.
But the former Watford shotstopper has embarked on a comeback and could feature in the Beavers' FA Trophy third qualifying round clash with Maidstone United tomorrow.
The news comes in the same week Beavers boss Alan Dowson agreed a loan extension until Christmas for third choice Bees keeper Mark Smith.
Lee, known for his penalty shoot-out exploits, made 87 appearances in five years at Griffin Park and was part of the squad that secured promotion to the Championship in 2014.
He will want to forget hist last game in Bees colours though as he was between the sticks for a 6-6 Capital One Cup draw with Dagenham & Redbridge at the start of last season.
