Kingstonian boss Tommy WIlliams says his men have no time to be feeling sorry for themselves after their FA Trophy exit on Saturday, writes Stuart Amos.
Ks were humbled 3-0 by National League South Truro City in the third qualifying round at Kingsmeadow and were never really in the game once Dan Green put the visitors ahead after just nine minutes.
Matt Wright added a second 17 minutes later before Isaac Vassell wrapped things up with the third late in the second half.
Williams’ men host Merstham in the Ryman Premier League tomorrow looking to bounce straight back as the festive period approaches.
“Apart from the the three goals, there wasn’t an awful lot in it,” said Williams.
“The chances they created they took and at the end of the day that is what counts.”
He added: “Everyone is disappointed, but we have got to regroup and knuckle down to the league.
“This is a massively important period of the season for us.
“We are six points off the top of the table and we have to make sure that when we come in to January we are still in the mix.”
Alan Inns and Harry Odametey are both suspended for Saturday clash, while defender Bruce Hogg is sidelined with a cracked rib suffered at the weekend.
