The capture of former Hendon striker Aaron Morgan gives Kingstonian boss Tommy Williams more options up front than he has ever had.
Morgan, who signed for the Kingsmeadow club last week, was handed his debut in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Merstham that cemented Ks’ place in the Ryman Premier League play-offs.
Williams’ men have netted 38 times in 22 league games this term and are the division’s joint fifth highest scorers this season.
Off to a good start: Ricky Sappleton scored the opening goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Merstham
But the does not mean the manager, who saw Ricky Sappleton, Dan Bennett and Pelayo Pico Gomez find the net on Saturday, is happy with his lot.
“As soon as Aaron became available I brought him in,” he said.
“He was a key part of a successful Hendon side last season and I have been watching him for a while.
“He gives us lots of options going forward because he can fill several roles - through the middle, out wide or in the hole behind the strikers.
Magnificent: Dan Bennett netted his seventh league goal for Ks on Saturday
“This is the strongest squad I have had since I’ve been here. A strong squad will win the league this year, not just a starting 11.”
He added: “I’m pleased with where we are, but we have a tough winter ahead.”
Alan Inns and Harry Odametey return from suspension for the trip to Staines Town tomorrow, while defender George Wells is available for selection after illness.
Back on song: Pelayo Pico Gomez wrapped up a comfortable 3-1 win for Kingstonian over Merstham on Saturday
