Ks boss Tommy Williams has moved quickly to replace departed striker Andre McCollin with ex-Hampton & Richmond Borough frontman Ryan Moss.
McCollin agreed a switch to Ryman Premier League rivals Tonbridge Angels on Monday and by Tuesday evening Moss had sealed a return to Kingsmeadow from Dulwich Hamlet.
The pair's prolific partnership helped fire Ks to a second-place finish in the table in 2014 before going their separate ways with McCollin joining Aldershot and Moss heading to Margate.
Back on familiar territory: Ryan Moss was prolific in his last spell at Kingsmeadow when he helped fire Ks to a second-placed finish in the Ryman Premier League
Moss, who scored 26 goals in 53 appearances in his previous spell at Kingsmeadow, scored the winner in the 2015 Ryman Premier League play-off final that took Margate into the National League South.
And Williams was delighted to get a proven goalscorer with such experience and pedigree.
"He is a player I'm looking forward to working with. He's a strong, hard working centre forward that scores goals," he added.
Williams completed a double swoop on Tuesday with the capture of ex-Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Wimbledon youngster Jake Nicholson.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who played in the Europa League for Spurs and made six league appearances for the Dons, sealed a switch from Ryman Division One South Walton Casuals this week.
Williams said: "Jake is a player I have tracked for some time. He's technically very gifted with good energy. He's hungry to do well and we welcome him to Kingsmeadow."
