Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Alan Dowson paid tribute to first team coach Ian Dyer's contribution to the club's Ryman Premier League title triumph.
Dyer, who arrived at the Beveree 12 months ago, signed a two-year contract extension this week as the Beavers continue to prepare for life in National League South.
And Dowson, who himself a new two-year deal last week, is only too aware that behind every good manager there is a quality backroom staff.
"Signing Ian on for the next couple of years means an essential part of the coaching team is in place, as we build a successful team for the new season in the National League South," he said.
"Ian has been a vital part of the recent success and I wanted him to stay with us for the future. I'm glad he agreed."
