It might have taken a while, but Ks assistant boss Graham Harper is over missing out on the Ryman Premier League play-offs last season and is determined the club will sign players with the right attitude to do better this term.
Ks promotion hopes collapsed in April after a 2-1 win over Bognor Regis Town had seemingly placed boss Tommy Williams men on course for a top five finish.
But one point - from a 0-0 draw with relegated Brentwood Town - from their final five league games, including a pair of defeats to relegation threatened Farnborough - meant a season that featured an Alan Turvey Trophy triumph, ultimately ended in frustration.

Outsiders blamed the slump on a packed schedule of games in the final weeks of the campaign, but Harper has slammed those responsible for lacking the attitude - rather than the energy - to get Ks over the line.
"We let ourselves down in the end and we need to be better," he said.
"At the start of the season, we looked at our run-in and thought if we were in the hunt at April we had a good chance of getting in the play-offs.
"We beat Bognor Regis Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough in the build up, but then drew with Brentwood and lost two games to Farnborough.
"That is purely down to mentality and character. It is nothing to do with the ability of the squad we had at our disposal.
On the run: Striker Andre McCollin has since left Kingsmeadow after the club missed out on the Ryman Premier League play-offs last term
"Players can easily get up to play the top teams, but some of the players took things for granted against the lower teams at the end.
"Non-League football is always busy at the end of the season. Playing games can give you momentum. We had it but let it go.
"The staff did not take things for granted. We wanted to get to the play-offs and worked hard to achieve that, so missing out was hard to take.
"But we improved on the previous season and we will improve again this year. There are players in this squad who have not won anything in senior football and we are desperate to watch them have success.
"Last season was hard work and very stressful, but I'll be back and gagging for it again when pre-season starts in July."
