Academy midfielder Bruno Morais has signed first team forms with the Ks for a second season and boss Tommy Williams hopes it is a sign of things to come.
Morais came off the bench to make his Ks debut in a Surrey Senior Cup tie at Merstham against Walton Casuals last November.
And he scored a penalty in the marathon 9-8 shoot-out win for Ks after the scores had finished level at 1-1 after normal time.
Morais netted 12 times in 22 appearances - including a hat-trick against AFC Wimbledon - for an academy team that won only four league games last term.
Aand Williams believes he is the example other youngsters should follow.
"Bruno has been working very hard so far this pre-season and fully deserves to sign first team forms," said the Kingsmeadow chief.
"Bruno is an example to the other Academy and U18 players that hard work will be rewarded here.
"I hope Bruno will be the first of many more to come through our academy and youth set up this year."
