Ks boss Tommy Williams has assured injured striker Tom Derry he still has a future at Kingsmeadow.
Front men Ryan Moss and Pelayo Pico Gomez scored four goals between them as Kingstonian beat Staines Town 2-0 and Met Police 2-1 in the Ryman Premier Division over the bank holiday weekend.
Derry, signed on a contract from Billericay Town in the summer, has not kicked a ball in competitive action for his new club due to an ankle injury.
But Williams is confident fans will see him in a Ks shirt before too long.
“Tom was Billericay’s top scorer last season and he has come here on a contract. He is very much part of our plans,” said the manager.
“It has been frustrating for him because he injured his ankle in pre-season, but he has shown signs in his rehab that he is getting there.
“I would like to think he will be back in action in the next two to three weeks, but we are not going to rush him back. He needs to be right.”
Charlie Knight, Greg Akpele, Shelton Gooden (on loan) and Jake Nicholson all left the club last week as Williams rang the changes to halt a poor start to the new campaign.
