The Surrey Comet was gripped by FA Cup fever last weekend, with three of our sides taking on Football League big guns in the first round.
Unfortunately, there were no giant-killings to report, but still plenty of great memories for players and fans alike.
Simon Fitzjohn made the long trek to Manchester for Tooting & Mitcham’s clash with Stockport County, and was given exclusive access to their pre-match build-up.
The management team of Billy Smith and George Wakeling allowed our camera into the dressing room before kick-off for a fascinating glimpse into preparations.
The Terrors lost 5-0 but were in no way overawed by the occasion, as the footage testifies.
And, for the players, officials and 297 fans who made the 400-mile round trip, it was a day never to be forgotten.
