Francis Vines was sacked as Carshalton Athletic boss last night as the Robins continue their Ryman premier struggles.
A statement read: "The board of Carshalton Athletic FC can announce that terms have been agreed with Francis Vines to relinquish his role as first team manager along with Steve Richardson as first team coach. Their commitments and efforts to the club have never been in question but the results on the pitch have made their positions untenable.
The Club would like to thank Frank and Steve and wish them both the best in the future.
Ian Hazel will be taking over the first team management role until the end of the season. there will also be an assistant manager who is yet to be appointed.
For and on Behalf of the Board of Carshalton Athletic FC."
