A last gasp winner from super-sub Dean Lodge crowned an incredible fightback from Kingstonian, who remain well on track for a promotion play-off berth.
Aveley, who are themselves making a late bid for the play-offs, held a seemingly comfortable 3-1 lead at the beginning of the second before the K's were thrown a lifeline when Millers' skipper Ryan Doyle gave away a soft penalty which Bobby Traynor converted.
Then with nine minutes to go a Lodge corner led to the equalizer from danger man Traynor before the comeback was completed in the second minute of added time when Lodge turned home a Bashiru Alimi cross.
The first half was a tight affair with both teams searching for the elusive first goal and the K's could have taken an early lead after just three minutes when skipper Adam Thompson's low cross from the right was spilled nervously by Aveley keeper Ollie Morris-Sanders. The ball fell kindly to Simon Huckle but he dragged his shot wide of the far post The Millers responded when striker Martin Tuohy ballooned his shot over from six yards while winger Ryan Edgar unleashed a powerful acute-angled drive that Rob Tolfrey did well to push out at full-stretch.
Aveley's continued pressure paid dividends in the 30th minute when Steve Butterworth evaded the entire Kingstonian defence to lash home from Doyle's cross to send the home crowd into raptures.
High-flying Kingstonian then began to show their class and Jolley had two efforts well saved by Morris-Sanders only minutes before the half-time whistle.
In the first minute of additional time the K's eventually found their equalizer when Jolley took off down the left and threaded a ball through to Alimi whose shot re-bounded off the post where Carl Wilson- Denis was on hand to poach the equalizer.
The half-time interval seemed to do wonders for the Millers and they re-took the lead after 51 minutes when a through ball from the busy Butterworth set up striker Sherwin Stanley on the edge of the K's box where he coolly chipped Tolfrey for a goal of real quality. Five minutes later they had their third when Symons headed the ball into the K's goalmouth where Ryan Edgar nodded past a stranded Tolfrey to give them a seemingly unassailable lead.
But Kingstonian set about a fightback almost immediately. The busy Wilson-Denis set up Jolley deep in the home box but he blasted over. On the hour the K's management team of Alan Dowson, Mark Hams and Martin Tyler threw on Dean Lodge which proved to be an inspired substitution.
Immediately, Lodge sent in a cross into the Millers box but it was comfortable for Morris-Sanders. But On 74 minutes the influential Doyle inexplicably handled the ball deep in his own box to give the away side a potential lifeline. Upstepped Bobby Traynor who confidently swept the spotkick into the right-hand corner wrong-footing Morris-Sanders.
On 81 minutes a Lodge corner from the left was turned back in in by a delicate overhead kick from Wilson-Denis on the far post where Traynor was waiting to head home from close range.
As the home team pushed forward in search of a fourth goal Lodge began to make a telling impact to Kingstonian's play and his darting run into Aveley's box almost allowed Wilson-Denis to find a dramatic winner, but his shot was well blocked.
But the comeback was completed in additional time when that man, Lodge, nonchalantly backheeled Alimi's drive past a stunned Morris-Sanders to give Kingstonian a famous victory that keeps their promotion hopes well and truly alive.
