Hampton & Richmond Borough youngster Dan Thompson could be the latest player to quit the club - but this time for a shot at the Football League.
The 17-year-old came off the bench in Tuesday's 6-1 defeat to League One Brentford, having done the same in Saturday's 2-1 win over Premier League QPR.
Beavers boss Mark Harper has seen a host of stars quit the Beveree this summer, although he recently welcomed back player of the year James Simmonds after his brief switch to Carshalton Athletic.
Thompson scored his first senior goal for Hampton against Woking in February and is set to become an important part of the first team squad for this year's Blue Square South campaign.
But chairman Steve McPherson admits the yougnster may not get the chance to cement a starting spot with interest in his services being registered from elsewhere.
"He has done well for us and is starting to look sharp," he said on Tuesday.
"Barnet and Swindon Town are taking a look at him at the moment, so it will be interesting to see how that develops.
"He could be the next Hampton player to move in to League football."
Saturday's impressive win against a strong QPR reserve outfit - which came via goals from new signing Callum Stewart and Nathan Collier - was tempered by the Bees defeat.
Reserve team graduate Stuart Duff netted what proved to be a consolation for the Beavers on Tuesday, yet skipper Matt Ruby insists it is not about results at this stage.
But he conceded Simmonds return can only add to the strength of the squad.
"There are a lot of players here from lower league level who are hungry and want to take their careers further, so there is a lot of potential," he added.
"James is a fans favourite and someone of his quality is only going to help the team. He is a good player.
"It is all about gearing up for the first game of the season. When you are playing against higher opposition people always want to impress.
"Everyone wants that shirt, from one to 11."
