Former Sutton United defender Alan Bray is hoping to impress Hampton & Richmond boss Mark Harper this pre-season.
Bray finished last term at Kingstonian – where he made one appearance as a substitute – and had hoped to land a spot in boss Alan Dowson’s plans for the coming campaign.
But he featured in the Beavers’ pre-season friendly with Brentford on Wednesday and Harper is weighing up his options.
“He has had a year doing nothing with a pretty bad injury, so he needs to find his fitness. You can see he is not sharp,” said Harper.
“But he has played at this level and knows what it takes, so he is certainly someone we are looking at.”
