Sutton Common Rovers, who currently groundshare with Vanarama National League Sutton United, host Camberley Town in the Southern Combination Challenge Cup final on Monday, May 1 (3pm), writes Gary Brigden.
Rovers have reached the final thanks to wins over Combined Counties division one sides Epsom Athletic (4-2 away in Round 1, thanks to a Sean Bradley hat-trick and another from Francois Gabbidon - both players no longer with the club); and followed that with a 2-0 win over Surrey Elite League Horsley, with goals from Gabbidon and Michael Campbell.
In the semi-final Rovers beat Ryman South side Walton Casuals with goals from Matt Auletta and Keano Robinson.
Sutton Common go into the final on the back of their most successful season in the Combined Counties league for four seasons, and sit comfortably in mid-table, with one game remaining.
This Saturday Rovers travel to North Greenford United where a win could propel them further up the league table.
