Wembley 1 Chessington & Hook United 0
Playing only their second match since the New Year, indeed, their second match since December 22nd, it would be interesting to see the performance, but it was lacklustre.
Probably the best thing to happen was the appearance of Gavin Quintyne after three months out with a shoulder injury, but it was his lack of match practice led to Wembley scoring the only goal of the game on 75 minutes.
He was dispossessed on the halfway line, and a quick pass forward caught Chessington flat-footed as he strode on to score with a firm shot that beat Mark Daniels easily.
This match, surprisingly, was only the second league match Chessington had failed to score in this season, the previous was a 0-0 draw with Raynes Park Vale.
Never a match that inspired the supporters, Wembley probably shaded it.
There were a few incidents of note - Wembley's number 10 was booked for diving, then, at the end, Chessington's Neil Wicks was flattened off the ball, but none of the officials saw the offence.
Chessington welcome Merstham to Chalky Lane on Tuesday night.
