Crystal Palace Ladies begin their pre-season this Sunday, with a twist, writes Natalie Curtis.

This year it will entail working partly with the Army, who are the main sponsors for Crystal Palace Ladies and they have joined together to create an exciting programme for the Ladies.

This will involve working with some of the best PT Instructors the Army has to offer over numerous different activities.

Manager Quinton Naidoo believes that this will not only improve the players fitness but it will also be a great way to improve team spirit and team morale.

The club has a very busy schedule this summer with a number of pre-season games already booked, including a friendly with Premier League champions Arsenal.

The management has brought in new coaches and new players with the intention of making this season a very successful one.

Joining Mark Saunderson as one of the new coaches for Palace is fitness coach Jenny Archer, who has a fantastic reputation within women’s and men’s football and her expertise will no doubt benefit the girls.
