Hounslow Wanderers enjoyed a 5-1 home win over Deportivo Galicia on Saturday to continue their 100 per cent start to the new Middlesex County Football League Premier Division season.

Wayne Harvey netted three goals in 20 minutes, while Robbie Stiles opened the scoring with a stunning 20-yard free-kick. Stiles grabbed the fifth after Harvey’s treble to put the lid on a fine win.

Wanderers assistant coach Thomas Thomas said: “Deportivo are an established club in the Premier Division and, had the boys not put in the effort they did early on, the result could have been different.

"All in all, it was another game to learn from as we adjust to life in this division.”
