Hounslow Borough boss Dennis Bainborough was this week trying to bring in players on loan after failing to gain an Hellenic League win since September.
Borough were fortunate to draw 2-2 draw at Shrivenham on Saturday, when player/assistant manager Carlton Mitchell was again sent off - this time for catching an opponent with his elbow.
Bainborough lamented: "We are not playing well and we don't have enough players to ring the changes, so I am hoping to bring in two on loan from Northwood."
Ryan O'Toole, Jon-Barrie Bates and Gary Hedges have joined Joe Charles and Phil Merritt on the injury list, while Mitchell faces a three-match ban in three weeks.
Bainborough said: "We have won in the cup but have gone a month without a league victory.
"And we can't buy a home win since we started groundsharing with Ruislip Manor at the start of the season."
Shrivenham twice took the lead but Boro hit back with goals from Bates and Hedges.
Borough: Miles; Antonne, Stevens, T Merritt, Hedges; Saliu; Keen, Bates, St John (Mitchell); Fletcher, O'Toole (Muyiwa).Sub not used: Taylor.
Hounslow visit Englefield Green in the League Cup first round on Saturday, and host Bicester in the league on Tuesday (7.30pm).
