Elmbridge Eagles star Harry Griffiths has landed a shot at life as a rugby league professional after signing a new deal with Super League outfit London Broncos.
Griffiths is one of nine youngsters to agree terms with the Twickenham club for next season after being part of last season's U16 scholarship scheme.
Joe Keyes has for the past two seasons been part of the England Youth program and scored a 60m try in their victory over Wales in the Summer.
With Richard Harris, Griffiths and Toby Everett towering already at a minimum height of 6ft 3in offering real physical presence.
Olly Toms, a wide running back rower, is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Hemel old boys Kieran Dixon and Dan Sarginson.
Staines Titans players Arnie Carter and Kain Monks both attended Feltham Community College, which has been a real hotbed for rugby league with Olsi Krasniqi currently representing them in first grade.
Elliott Barnes and Dapo Awofolu were part of Medway's successful London Junior League U16 team, which won both the Challenge cup and Grand Final.
Broncos head of youth Phil Jones said: "These lads are a really exciting group and some of them attracted great interest from clubs in the North.
"It is a great credit to themselves, their parents and the London junior league clubs the level of performance they are already at.
"It also reflects well on the investment the club and David Hughes has made in the scholarship program. However, all the boys know this is the start of the next part of a really tough journey which will lead some of them to first grade."
