Neighbours Jack Draper from Ashtead and Sutton's Brendan Murphy go head to head tomorrow (Wednesday) for a place in the U14s Nike Junior Tennis Championships final.
Murphy secured his place in the semi-final clash at the Nottingham Tennis Centre thanks to a 6-4 6-2 win over Maxime Trenikhin.
Draper, who's brother Ben in competiting in the U16s age group, beat Bradley Buckland from Chesterfield 6-0 6-1.
He said: “I’m happy with how I played. It was a cold morning so it was important that I got here early and got a good warm up.
"I’m really enjoying the tournament so far and it’s great to have my brother (Ben) playing here in the 16s too.”
The Nike Junior Tennis Championships are the highest level competition for all juniors and the pinnacle of the summer domestic calendar.
The tournament features more than 250 players across four age groups and is a showcase for British tennis and the best junior talent in the country.
