Richmond hit the top of the Middlesex County League Premier Division table with a little help from their friends.
Middlesex man Don Manuwelge and Parminder Singh saw Twickenham to a 120-run win over then-leaders Ealing on Saturday to allow their neighbours to reach the summit.
Daniel Lezar’s 80 and Eugene Berger’s 57 saw skipper Carlos Nunes’ men post 260 all out on the Green, before Manuwelge (5-58) and Singh (5-49) dismissed the visitors for 140.
Richmond claimed a three wicket home win over Eastcote after skipper Alex Griffith’s unbeaten 58 helped his side past the visitors’ 135.

Teddington, who host the new leaders tomorrow, are second after overseas batsman Tim Armstrong (99) and James Fear (60) ensured Jack Sever’s 5-29 was not wasted as they got past hosts Shepherds Bush’s 194 with three wickets to spare.

Barnes continued their fine start to life in Division Two with a four wicket win at home to Brondesbury.
