Teddington can win a second Middlesex County League Premier Division title in three years when they head to Stanmore tomorrow.
Saturday’s five-wicket win over Southgate at Bushy Park – which featured a 162-run partnership between Tim Armstrong (76) and Ben Williams (106*) – has the 2014 champions six points clear of second-placed North Middlesex.
Twickenham must beat bottom-club Eastcote to be certain of another year of Premier Division cricket, while victory for Division Two Barnes at home to Harrow St Mary’s will see them promoted to the top flight.
