Worcester Park-based Phil Wicks clocked a personal best 23 minutes 50 seconds to win the Alsager five-mile road race in Cheshire on Sunday.
He beat a 1,000-strong field to see off Birchfield's early race leader John Ndyasenga (24:09).
Belgrave's Neil Speaight (24:14) and Steven Sharp (24:25) were third and seventh to secure a team victory.
Surrey champion Emily Adams (28:44) was third in the women's race with Clapham Chasers' Justina Heslop eighth (29:16) and Epsom & Ewell's Emily Nelson 13th (29:40).
