Richmond-upon-Thames College's basketball academy won both of their games last Saturday - in very different styles.
Saturday's trip to Folkestone Saints produced an easy 97-67 win - even though they were missing two regular starters through illness and injury.
Richmond already led by 19 points after the first half, and they continued to gradually increase their advantage.
Scorers: Othman 32, Wilkins 28, Videyra 14, Felix 12, Walden 7, Charles 4.
A day later, Richmond were even more depleted for the trip to Bedford Bulls, but appeared to be in control with a nine-point lead at half-time.
But Richmond suddenly stopped scoring and, with four minutes left, Bedford were 12 points ahead.
However, Richmond's never-say-die approach paid off with Henry Wilkins and Ahmed Othman, in particular, regaining their composure to land a succession of three-pointers.
Then, steady leadership from Runako Charles allowed them to find an easy way to the basket to seal an unlikely 78-73 victory.
Scorers: Wilkins 21, Othman 16, Prazmo 16, Charles 12, Robinson 8, Felix 3, Videyra 2.
