Hull 6 Harlequins 24
Chad Randall inspired Harlequins to a stunnning victory on the road as they gained their first win of the season at the KC Stadium this afternoon.
Quins, with Randall pulling all the strings, shocked the hosts with three tries in the opening 20 minutes.
Firstly, skipper Rob Purdham span out of a tackle to touch down and, minutes later, Mark McLinden showed some neat footwork to give David Howell a clear run to the line.
With the large home crowd voicing their disapporval, things got even better for Quins when Danny Orr's high kick deceived two Hull defenders allowing Matt Gafa to pounce.
After soaking up Hull pressure early in the second half, Quins sealed the win when Randall burrowed over after Henry Paul was held up on the line.
In a frantic finale, Gafa crashed over for his second try, before Shaun Berrigan grabbed a consolation for the hosts.
The one black spot for Quins was an injury to Scott Hill, who left the field in a neck brace in the second half.
