Croydon Harriers enjoyed a successful weekend at the England Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham, bringing back a gold medal and two bronzes.
Babatunde Amosu won the men's U-17 triple jump, and 16-year-old Twinelle Hopeson won bronze in both the women's U-17 60m and 200m.
Babatunde, 16, won with a jump of 14.70m, six centimetres clear of his nearest rival and almost a metre ahead of third place.
The jump was a Croydon Harrier club record and a personal best for Babatunde. It also marks a remarkable improvement in his performances this season as it is the third time this month he has gone over 14m, when last season his best was only 13.89m.
Hopeson meanwhile clocked 7.70 seconds in the 60m to finish third behind a winning time of 7.51. She had previously won her heat and come third in her semi-final.
She also claimed bronze in the 200m with a time of 24.79 having comfortably won her heat.
English schools champion Anthony Cummings, 15, made the step up to the U-17 60m hurdles and though he didn't get past the heat, he recorded a respectable time of 8.71 seconds.
