The Croydon Borough Mini-Marathon trials take place at Lloyd Park this Saturday for teenagers wishing to compete in the London mini-marathon run in conjunction with the London Marathon.
Boys and girls aged 11 and 17 on the day of the London Marathon, April 13, and who are resident or going to school in the borough are eligible to race.
Last year's winner Elliott Veheary of Shirley High School and organising club Croydon Harriers will be heading a strong field.
Those interested in taking part should report to the car park by Lloyd Park tram stop between 1.30 and 2pm to register.
