Martin Gaunt defeated a field of more than 100 to win the Wimbledon Common 5km time trial on Saturday morning, by Charles Lawrie.
The Serpentine runner, making his first appearance in the race, beat three Hercules Wimbledon athletes to the line by clocking 16 minutes 45 seconds.
Over-40 veteran Stuart Fraser was 44 seconds adrift in second, with teenager Alexander Robinson third and the more experienced Gary Blesson fourth.
Liz Wynn made it a double for Serpentine by winning the women's race in 18:41 seconds.
That made it two wins out of two in the event for Wynn, who was nearly two-and-a-half minutes clear of Thames Hare & Hounds' over-50 veteran Anna Garnier in second, with over-40 runner Zoe Phillips third.
