Hercules Wimbledon's Mike Halman led from start to finish to win the Barry Jones five-mile road race in Wimbledon Park onm Bank Holiday Monday.
Halman won by 21 seconds in 26:37 from Nicolas Vanlerberghe of Victoria Park and Tower Hamlets and Hercules clubmate Andrew Penny, who set a junior course record of 28:40.
Steve Badgery, 60, was top veteran, finishing fifth in 30:12, setting an age-group course record.
Hercules Wimbledon clubmate Hugh Saxby broke the over-50 record with 30:35 for seventh place.
Over-40 veteran Anna Critchlow (West 4 Harriers) set a women's record 30:57 to finish clear of Ranelagh's Jo Ronaldson (32:08) and South London Harriers' Ruth Hutton (33:32).
