Six wickets from Duncan Wood set Teddington on their way to victory at Stanmore on Saturday to re-ignite hopes of chasing down Middlesex County League Premier Division leaders Ealing.

The hosts were eventually dismissed for 227 before James Keightley (70) and Ben Duncan (68*) saw skipper Toby Bailey's men home to maximum points for the loss of just five wickets.

Richmond continue to struggle at the foot of the table as they lost by 60 runs at home to Eastcote, despite paceman Craig Jones claiming figures of 7-49.

The visitors were dismissed for 205, but stand-in skipper Stephen Price's men never really got going in reply as Mark Collier ripped through their line-up to the tune of 6-29.

In Division Two, Twickenham had overseas player James Munting's 5-77 to thank for their 51-run triumph at South Hampstead that kept them in the hunt for promotion.

The Australia – and opening partner Just Scriven (3-61) demolished the hosts for 176 after Dan Hough (44) and JP Cronje (51*) had helped skipper Carlos Nunes' men post a competitive 227 all-out.

Meanwhile, Ts' second team pulled off a dramatic 23-run victory over Middlesex Championship Division One leaders Osterley on the Green.

An eighth-wicket stand between Simon Hawley (49) and Mark Smith (39), saw their side recover from 116-7 to post 212 all out after Agha Shahid had earlier stroked a stylish 68.

The Indian left-armer then claimed figures of 5-77 as Osterley – who smashed the ball to all parts - collapsed to189 all-out to hand a major boost to Twickenham's title hopes.
