Barnes tumbled to their second successive defeat in a low-scoring encounter at Wycombe House on Saturday.
The home team was restricted to 168 all out with spinners Oli Ratcliffe taking 2-20 and Ben Dougall 2-4 from two overs.
But Barnes struggled to build any partnership and a gutsy 56 not out from captain James Drake-Brockman was not enough.
Barnes finished eight runs short and this week travel to Barnet with hopes of getting the season back on track.
