Sunday saw 5 Collingwood runners, 8 of whom completed the 30 mile Ultra Tanners Marathon the week earlier, take part in the Andredsweald High Weald Challenge.
Starting in Forest Row, Sussex, this 26.6 mile run involved following written instructions around the Kent and Sussex countrysides.
Heavy rain the night before and morning of the race meant that conditions were tough.
Andy Stalley and Steve Cooney started at the front of the field and were eventually overtaken by just the one runner. They came joint second in 4 hours 40 minutes.
Mel Johnstone and Dave Ross finished in 5 hours 30 minutes. Allan Rumbles finished in a time of 6 hours.
All five are back in action next Sunday at the Fairlands Challenge Marathon in Stevenage where Mel, Allan and Steve will take another small step in joining Dave and Andy as full members of the 100 Marathon Club.
