Top English golfer Lee Westwood will host masterclass for young hopefuls at Addington Court Golf Centre next week when his academy, in partnership with The Co-operative, open its doors for the first time.
Addington Court Golf Centre was by Westwood because of the facilities it offers for young golfers to learn and the academy will be there between next Tuesday and Thursday.
The summer holiday academies for 7-16 year old girls and boys will help to develop golfers of all abilities by providing top quality coaching in a friendly, structured and safe environment.
Westwood said: “I’m really looking forward to leading the masterclass at Addington Court Golf Centre.
"The beauty of these academies is they will be able to cope with a full range of abilities to make sure everyone improves their golf.
"There is also that special prize of a day’s golf with me for someone to win.”
The Lee Westwood Golf Academy, held in partnership with The Co-operative, will run at Addington Court Golf Centre and eight other specialist venues across the country, in the 10 days following The 138th Open Championship.
Each Academy will provide three full days of expert tuition.
Not only will all attendee’s at the camp get to attend a masterclass with Lee, they will also take away a Lee Westwood Golf Academy cap and bag and have the chance to win a host of other prizes.
