Ebbisham Tennis Club staged their annual championship finals on Saturday.
The results showed a marked trend towards the younger members.
In the men's singles final, Euan Barrett (21), the defending champion, was taken all the way in three close, exciting sets by Chris Graham, who will not turn 16 till August, with Euan eventually running out the winner 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
Club Chairman Terry Coles, who watched the match from his vantage point in the umpire's chair, stated it was the best final he had witnessed at Ebbisham.
The ladies singles was a more one-sided affair with Jane Doswell retaining her title against newcomer from Hamburg Anna Lueke 6-1, 6-2.
The men's doubles was also a completely youthful affair with the Bonner brothers Luke and Jake triumphing over Euan Barrett and his partner Stuart Lovett 6-2, 6-4. In the ladies doubles Jane Doswell teamed up with Lesley Coles to defeat Gill Futcher and Kate Hudspeth 6-2, 6-1.
The mixed doubles title went to Anna Lueke and Colin Shermer who defeated Lesley Coles and Jason Moss 7-6, 6-1, the latter pair falling away rather badly after a very close-fought first set.
Due to the large entry for the men's singles, a plate event was held, and another youngster Steve Waterman emerged the winner 6-4, 6-3 over another newcomer Kamal Achuthan, who only took up tennis this season.
In the evening the players joined with other club members and friends for a curry and disco in the club's lounge bar.
