The summer season of evening horse racing at Kempton Park Racecourse continues with Irish Night on Wednesday.
It promises to be a great night of entertainment, with live Irish music acts during and after the races.
Crowd favourites Rollercoaster will be performing in the parade ring after the last race, while the Hookey Band will be in the digibet bar and Black Velvet in the Panoramic Bar and Restaurant during the races.
There will be Irish stilt walkers mingling with the crowds during the evening, and Irish food and drink will be on offer.
Irish Night is the latest in a series of evening meetings at Kempton Park, which has already included Best of British Night in July, which featured the first horse race to be performed to live music from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Amy Starkey, the racecourse's managing director, said: "Summer nights are when horse racing at Kempton Park is at its best. We've already enjoyed a spectacular series of events and attractions, with Irish Night next up on Wednesday 5 August."
It isn't just evening racing during the summer at Kempton Park. After Irish Night, two other occasions to look forward to are: *Monday 24 August brings the school summer holidays to a climax in spectacular style with an afternoon of racing followed by a live concert from a High School Musical tribute act. Children's entertainments are being laid on too.
*Saturday 5 September is totesport Ladies' Day, and features the running of the September Stakes and the Sirenia Stakes in front of the cameras of Channel 4.
It's a day of racing, pampering and glamour for the fairer sex, with a style stable and fashion show. A special fish & fizz admission package for £25 includes a bet, racecard, a glass of Champagne and a seafood platter.
The 'Wednesday Winner Package' is available - and the price has been reduced: £15 'Wednesday Winner' - admission; racecard; drink voucher; and bet booklet; £18 'Wednesday Winner Plus' - Wednesday Winner package, plus a food voucher.
As always, accompanied children aged under 16 are offered free admission at Kempton Park.
