Sutton & Cheam Swimming Club’s Michael Rees and George Brown proudly display their array of trophies (above), which they won at the recent Fareham Open, writes Mick Helps.
Michael and George achieved second and third positions, respectively, in their age groups.
Jacob Tidy gained a top four position in all of his nine races and finished first place in his age group.
Lyndsey Robinson achieved third position in her age group. In the 100m Butterfly, Rebecca Hedges finished second and Reanna Howells finished third in each of their age groups.
Overall, Sutton & Cheam finished in a well-earned seventh place, which included some remarkable performances from individual swimmers, many of whom achieved personal best times.
